Opinion: Southern food at its finest, Maple Street opened in Jacksonville in 2012.  The restaurant provides a culture based on traditional southern values.  Community seating allows for guests to interact in the open environment while chatting with friendly staff members who offer an alternative method to food calling; answer the question of the day with your own personal twist while jamming out to popular country tunes.  Order a fried chicken biscuit to enjoy Maple Street's one-of-a-kind southern comfort food with a modern twist.

Opinion: A Jacksonville staple that is sweeping the nation, Metro Diner originally started as the popular breakfast and lunch joint on Hendricks Avenue near San Marco.  Now with several locations across Florida and the United States, Metro Diner is taking the country by storm thanks to Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives host Guy Fieri, who visited the joint several years ago.  Metro serves up your traditional breakfast/brunch foods through dishes like the two egg breakfast and twelve-inch pancake, but what they are known for are their more "extreme" dishes like the Yo Hala on the Square, Chicken and Waffles, and Bissell Breakfast.  Their extensive lunch menu also feeds into dinner hours at select locations, serving up classic sandwiches and salads, with different specials every day.  Come check out "where the locals eat" with a visit to the home of the Metro Diner!

Opinion: Who doesn't love a good taco?  All Mexican food lovers & beach-goers unite at Neptune Beach's signature beachfront Mexican restaurant.  The menu is comprised of a variety of Latin-American inspired dishes, complete with eclectic tacos, unique sandwiches, high-end alcoholic beverages and live music in an unbeatable atmosphere.  Its beachfront location is perfect for a mid-day pick-me-up or kickoff to a summer beach day.  But, get there early!  Tourists and locals flock here at all hours of the weekends and summer weekdays.  Well worth the wait and well worth your time!
